Activists have launched a new website, mafrance.app, which serves as a comprehensive database compiling information on crimes committed by foreign-born individuals in France. The site includes data for every city in the country and features nearly 65,000 sourced articles detailing these crimes.
In addition to crime statistics, the website provides information on the number of mosques in each region and a replacement index for France. The platform is designed to be user-friendly and is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. It is free to access for all users.
This initiative comes amid ongoing discussions about immigration and public safety in France. For related coverage on immigration issues, see our article on recent developments in immigration.
