As of now, there has been no confirmation of immediate deployment. General Dagvin Anderson is scheduled to visit Nigeria soon to discuss the situation further.
This development comes amid reports of increased violence in the region, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by Nigerian authorities in combating insurgent groups. For related coverage, see previous reports on U.S. military preparations in Nigeria.
