Ukraine has ramped up its drone production, now manufacturing 3,000 FP-1 long-range drones each month, matching Russia's output of Shahed drones. This significant development was reported by Defence Express on August 22, 2025.
The FP-1 drones boast an impressive range of up to 1,600 kilometers and a payload capacity of 120 kilograms. At a production cost of approximately $55,000 per unit, these drones not only exceed the capabilities of Russia's Shahed drones in terms of payload and range but are also more cost-effective to produce.
