According to a report by CNN, China has expanded over 60% of its missile facilities since 2020, adding approximately 21 million square feet of new structures, which include bunkers and testing sites. This expansion follows a significant increase in missile production that has surged since the invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, China"s nuclear arsenal is reportedly growing by around 100 warheads each year.
This development is part of China"s ongoing military modernization efforts. As previously reported, the country has been enhancing its defense capabilities, which includes the recent commissioning of the Fujian, its first fully home-designed aircraft carrier.
