Approximately a dozen U.S. Air Force KC-135R/T “Stratotanker” aerial-refueling tankers are currently en route to Europe, departing from various airbases across the United States. The aircraft are heading northeast and are preparing to cross the Atlantic, with several reportedly on their way to RAF Mildenhall in England.

This movement of tankers has drawn attention as a similar deployment occurred prior to the onset of the Iran War in June.
