IDF launches offensive on Gaza City, advancing into Jabalia City

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have launched an offensive on Gaza City, with supporting attacks initiated in the Northern Governorate. This operation began following the IDF"s announcement regarding their military actions in the region.

Israeli armored units advanced along the coastal Al-Rashid Road and other routes established during previous operations, reaching the initial districts of Jabalia City. They successfully cleared and captured the outlying streets, reaching the edge of the Madinat Al "Awada Neighborhood from the north. Concurrently, other forces secured key locations, including the destroyed Gaza Oil Company complex and the former IDF base at the Gaza Desalination Plant.
