Iran orders 48 Su-35 fighter jets from Russia, contract period 2026-2028

A Russian document has confirmed that Iran has placed an order for 48 Su-35 fighter jets. The document, obtained through a cyberattack on Rostec Corporation, indicates that the contract period for the jets is set between 2026 and 2028, with an advance payment of 15% required.

Additionally, the document mentions an export contract for 24 L-265M10-02 Khibiny-M electronic jamming systems, which are designed for use with the Su-35 fighters. Reports suggest that this order was made in exchange for the establishment of production of Shahed-136 attack drones in Russia.
