A 17-year-old Kosovar, identified as Erjon S., stabbed a homeless man and a teacher in Germany on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Witnesses reported that he shouted "Allahu Akbar" during the attack, claiming the teacher had "insulted the Prophet."

The incident occurred in a public area in the city of Düsseldorf, where the suspect, already known to local police, targeted the victims in what authorities are investigating as a possible act of terrorism. The teacher sustained serious injuries, while the homeless man was also injured but is expected to survive.

This case may be escalated to Germany’s Federal Prosecutor, given the implications of a potential terrorist motive. Erjon S. had previously been on law enforcement"s radar for other minor offenses, raising concerns about his radicalization.

The attack has sparked discussions about security and the integration of young immigrants in Germany, particularly in light of recent developments in similar situations. As previously reported, the rise in violent incidents linked to extremist beliefs remains a pressing issue for German authorities.
