Marine F-35B stealth fighter aircraft landed in Puerto Rico on September 14, 2025, as the United States enhances its airpower in the Caribbean. This deployment follows one of the largest naval operations in the region.
According to open-source imagery, MQ-9 Reaper drones have also been stationed in Puerto Rico. Additionally, numerous C-17 Globemaster III cargo aircraft, along with KC-135 Stratotanker and KC-46 Pegasus aerial refuelers, have been observed flying to bases in the area.
This significant military buildup reflects the U.S. commitment to strengthening its presence in the Caribbean, as previously reported.
