New Jersey University Launches World's First Department of Happiness

New Jersey University has launched the world’s first Department of Happiness, offering a four-year online PhD program. The curriculum will cover subjects including neuroscience, psychology, religion, philosophy, literature, and leadership.

Director of happiness research and co-founder of the university stated, “In the face of this global mental health crisis, studying happiness is not a luxury, but a necessity.”
