Pakistan"s military spokesperson, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, has accused India of planning a maritime false flag operation in the disputed Sir Creek region. This accusation comes as tensions between the two nations remain high. Chaudhry stated that the operation is intended to justify aggression against Pakistan.
In his remarks, the spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan would respond more strongly to any provocation from India. The Sir Creek area, which is located along the border of the Indian state of Gujarat and Pakistan"s Sindh province, has been a longstanding point of contention between the two countries.
This warning from Pakistan"s military highlights the ongoing volatility in the region, where both nations have a history of conflict over territorial disputes. The situation continues to evolve as diplomatic relations remain strained.
