Russia is set to supply Algeria with 14 Su-34ME strike fighters and 12 Su-57E stealth jets as part of a multibillion-euro arms deal. The deliveries are scheduled to occur between 2024 and 2026 and will include L-175 electronic warfare systems and L-277M repair kits.
In addition, Iran is expected to receive 48 Su-35SE air superiority fighters equipped with Khibiny-M electronic warfare systems and potential L-265V electronic warfare pods. This deal, which is projected to take place between 2026 and 2028, is valued at over €6 billion and will also include L-277M kits.
These agreements indicate a strengthening of military cooperation between Russia and its allies, Algeria and Iran, amid ongoing regional tensions. As of now, neither the Russian government nor the involved countries have commented on the authenticity of these deals.
