Russian State Duma Deputy Alexei Zhuravlev has issued a warning that Russia could launch retaliatory strikes on American cities if Ukraine utilizes U.S.-supplied Tomahawk cruise missiles. Zhuravlev, a member of the Defense Committee, stated that only American crews would be able to operate the missiles, which could lead to significant consequences, including potential attacks on urban centers in the United States.

"Only American crews will be able to launch them... with all the consequences that follow, including possible retaliatory fire on American cities," Zhuravlev said, according to a report by Gazeta.ru.

This statement comes amid ongoing tensions related to the conflict in Ukraine and the involvement of Western nations in supplying military aid to Kyiv. The implications of such threats raise concerns about the escalation of military actions between Russia and the United States.
