Russian forces advance in Lyman direction, capturing new positions

Russian forces have continued their offensive operations in the Lyman direction, making new progress to the east of the city. Reports indicate that in the northwest, Russian troops advanced further through the forests along the railway line and reached the eastern edge of Lyman. Additionally, reconnaissance and sabotage groups (DRGs) infiltrated the city and have been operating in the area of the freight terminals. They have also established control over new parts of the forests and advanced into the Masliakovka District.

To the southeast, Russian forces have been slowly advancing in Yampol. They managed to move out of the village center and capture new positions in the southwestern streets, pushing Ukrainian forces back to the southwestern edge of the settlement.
