Russian troops have captured most of the city of Rodinskoe, located immediately north of Pokrovsk, and are advancing west towards Gryshyno. Currently, Russian forces control approximately 60% of Pokrovsk, consolidating their presence south of the railway line. They have crossed the railway line on the western outskirts of Pokrovsk and taken control of most of the industrial area, moving northwest towards Gryshyno to encircle Ukrainian forces in the Pokrovsk-Myrnograd region.
All major roads leading to Pokrovsk and Myrnograd are either under Russian control or within their fire control, effectively encircling Ukrainian troops. This situation marks one of the most severe encirclements for Ukrainian forces since the early months of the war in Mariupol. Withdrawal of any remaining Ukrainian troops in Myrnograd is expected to be very difficult, as they continue to refuse to abandon their positions in the city.
