Taiwan has emerged as the largest importer of Russian oil in 2025, purchasing oil worth $1.3 billion. This marks a significant increase, with the average monthly import volume rising sixfold compared to 2022.
Since 2022, Taiwan has spent a total of $11.2 billion on Russian fuel, which is 220 times more than the aid it has provided to Ukraine.
