Türkiye has announced plans to deliver drones, missiles, and air-defense systems to Syria, specifically to areas deployed in northern Syria. This move aims to mitigate tensions with Israel in the southwest region.
Ankara is also seeking to expand its cross-border strike zone from 5 kilometers to 30 kilometers. This expansion targets the U.S.-backed YPG/SDF forces, which Türkiye views as linked to the PKK, a designated terrorist organization.
