US President Donald Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 23, 2025, declaring that America is experiencing a "golden age." He emphasized that the United States has the strongest economy, borders, military, friendships, and spirit.

Trump criticized the Biden administration, stating that in four years, there has been less than $1 trillion in investment, while he claimed that $17 trillion has been committed and paid during his eight months in office. He also spoke about immigration, thanking El Salvador for its efforts to jail criminals who have entered the United States, asserting that "immigration is destroying your country" and urging action.

In his speech, Trump noted that he has ended seven long-standing wars, some lasting up to 36 years, including conflicts involving Cambodia, Thailand, Kosovo, Serbia, Congo, Rwanda, Pakistan, India, Israel, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

Trump concluded his remarks by humorously referencing technical difficulties he experienced at the UN, stating, "Two things I got from the UN: a bad escalator and a bad teleprompter." He expressed gratitude as the teleprompter began working again.
