A Dornier C-146A Wolfhound aircraft from the U.S. Air Force"s Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) is currently flying south of the Bahamas towards the island of Hispaniola, with Puerto Rico expected to be its final destination.
AFSOC has a history of involvement in significant military operations, including its key role in reconnaissance during Operation Just Cause in 1989, when the United States invaded Panama and overthrew then-leader Manuel Noriega.
