The United States deployed a pair of B-1B Lancer bombers to the Caribbean on October 28, 2025, marking the third bomber mission in less than two weeks. The aircraft were detected approximately 20 miles off the coast of Venezuela, the closest they have flown to the mainland. They were tracked about 50 miles north of Caracas.
This recent operation follows previous missions in the region, highlighting ongoing military activity by the U.S. near Venezuela. For more information on related developments, see Venezuela captures CIA-backed mercenary group plotting false flag operation.
