The U.S. Supreme Court has rejected Ghislaine Maxwell"s appeal to overturn her 2021 conviction for recruiting and grooming underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein"s sex trafficking operation. The decision was announced on October 6, 2025.

Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison, argued that a 2007 non-prosecution agreement with Epstein should have shielded her from prosecution. However, the Supreme Court upheld the ruling of the 2nd Circuit Court, which affirmed her guilt.

Maxwell is currently serving her sentence at a low-security facility in Florida. For more on this case, see our previous reports.
