The U.S. Department of the Treasury is advancing preliminary designs for a $1 commemorative coin featuring President Donald J. Trump, scheduled for release in 2026 to commemorate America"s 250th anniversary. The coin is authorized by the bipartisan Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020, which was signed into law by Trump.

The obverse of the coin will display Trump"s profile, while the reverse will depict him raising his fist before the American flag, inscribed with the words "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT." U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach, who oversaw the drafts, confirmed their authenticity in a statement during the ongoing government shutdown, stating, "Under the historic leadership of President Trump, our nation enters its semiquincentennial stronger and more prosperous."

A final design for the coin is pending approval from Treasury Secretary. The production of the coin will not require taxpayer funds.
