According to a recent observation by a student, there is a notable correlation between the presence of Jewish synagogues and Islamic mosques in U.S. counties. Research indicates that among the counties in the United States that have either a synagogue or a mosque, 51% contain both religious structures.
Specifically, there are 286 counties that have a mosque but lack a synagogue, while only 82 counties have a synagogue without a mosque. This data highlights the coexistence of these two religious communities in many areas across the country.
