Germany prepares for 1,000 wounded troops per day in potential conflict

Germany"s armed forces are preparing for a potential conflict with Russia by planning to treat up to 1,000 wounded troops per day. This preparation comes amid ongoing warnings from NATO that Russia could be capable of launching an attack as early as 2029.

Germany"s Surgeon General Ralf Hoffmann stated that approximately 15,000 hospital beds will be needed from the total capacity of up to 440,000 available in German hospitals. To meet future demands, the German military"s medical service, which currently consists of 15,000 personnel, will be expanded.
