The Net-Zero Banking Alliance, a global banking coalition supported by the United Nations and committed to climate goals, has announced it will cease operations immediately. This decision follows a member vote to disband its membership structure.
Despite the disbandment, the alliance"s guidance tools and frameworks will remain publicly accessible for banks that are looking to set decarbonisation targets.
